Sharing the local heritage and culture of our area
All-Inclusive History is a Sussex-based history consultancy that aims to engage people of any age with their heritage and provides a range of history-related services, projects and products.
We focus on protecting and raising awareness about local heritage, culture and our society; campaigning to protect historical architecture along the coast and by writing a range of resources about Sussex’s coastline.
We offer talks on ‘Sussex, Shipwrecks,
Smugglers and the Sea’ and AIH’s Director’s forthcoming book, Pond Puddings
and Sussex Smokies celebrates food and drink from our coastal county.
Two of his latest books, Visitors’ Historic Britain: West Sussex and East
Sussex/ Brighton and Hove feature the coast and coastal settlements
We take groups on walks and tours of the Sussex coastline, (both on foot and motorised) and many of our talks feature both the coast and the biosphere; explaining especially coastal changes and suggesting environmentally friendly events that celebrate our heritage.
We educate people of all ages also through our talks on Sussex traditions, local food and drink and try to encourage new cultural events based on occurrences from the past.
sustainability credentials include encouragement to get businesses recycling
with our talks on ‘Recycled Brighton’ and ‘Recycled Sussex’ and we aim to be as
environmentally friendly a local business as possible, especially by the
redistribution of textbooks and resources to schools and organisations.
We advise local and international businesses sited in Sussex on their
organisation’s past history and heritage of their buildings when it comes to
sensitive building developments of historic buildings in the county.
